About the Founder
Dr. Femi Patrick Oyedoyin
Founder and Director of Global Elite Academia
Femi Patrick Oyedoyin is an award-winning educator, researcher, scientist, and the Founder and Director of Global Elite Academia (GEA). With nearly two decades of teaching experience across Cambridge IGCSE, GCSE, A-Level, and West African curricula, he combines extensive classroom expertise with active scientific research.
He holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology, UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and is a Microsoft Certified Educator, placing him among a select group of internationally qualified teacher-researchers.
Dr. Oyedoyin has received numerous recognitions, including Best Teacher in Nigeria at the inaugural Teach & Win Reality Show, two nominations among the Top 90 Cambridge Dedicated Teachers worldwide, Best STEM Coach at the National Conrad Innovation Challenge, Best Research Presenter at the APS African Division Conference, and the UNESCO-ICB PhD Scholarship. He has also been nominated for the Global Teacher Prize.
Passionate about innovation in education, he has mentored students in developing projects such as robotic devices, hydroponics systems, medical devices, security applications, and sustainable agricultural technologies. Many of these projects have earned national and international recognition and have contributed to students securing scholarships and university admissions in the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Portugal, Brazil and Turkey.
Through GEA, Dr. Oyedoyin leads educational initiatives, develops STEAM programmes, mentors students, and supports schools in delivering high-quality global education.
